We enjoyed traveling through the countryside by train. Paddy, our guide spent time talking with each of to explain what we would do and see. We did a bit of walking but it was not fast paced. The group enjoyed lunch at the The Reg in Waterford. The tour through Waterford factory was very informative and in the showroom, Paddy made sure we helped by the showroom staff.

The trip was so fun!! Our tour guide Patty, was amazing! So kind, friendly and loved to chat. If you go on this tour, I would recommend booking a self guided tour with the Kilkenny Castle. It was spectacular! The trip to Waterford was beautiful as well.

Enjoy a scenic train ride to Kilkenny where a waking tour will take you through the winding streets to the castle. The hilarious street train driver will entertain you as you drive around town some more. Hop back on the train to Waterford. Enjoy a wonderful lunch at a local restaurant (cost not included). The tour of the crystal factory is so in-depth, you’ll feel like you’re cutting the glass yourself.

Our tour guide was excellent as we took a walking tour of Kilkenny as he pointed out the important sights of the city and telling us about them. We ate lunch in Kilkenny and toured the grounds of Kilkenny Castle. For those of us who wanted to do a self guided tour inside the castle we did so. It was only 6 euro per person. The inside is definitely worth seeing because it has been renovated. After that we did a short walk back to the train station to go to the city of Waterford and to tour the Waterford Crystal Factory. After we got off the train in Waterford we got on a road train that traveled through the neighborhoods of Waterford, a very cute city!. The only shopping we had time to do was at the crystal factory. I highly recommend this tour!

This was a wonderful day trip to Kilkenny and Waterford Crystal. Patty our tour guide took very good care of us. Sites were timed perfectly, lunch in the pub was good. Loved traveling by train. Can't say enough good about Patty he even put us in a cab back to our hotel. Wonderful person!!!

Paddy was knowledgeable of the towns we visited and kept us on schedule. He was helpful and went above and beyond to make our experience feel “first class.”
Kilkenny Castle and the town was lovely and definitely worth a visit. We visited during the off season to avoid the crowds.

Great tour, no doubt. Paddy, our guide went above and beyond to help my wife and I see
some extra things outside of the scheduled tour. We were treated like VIPs the entire time
and saw some amazing things. Highly recommend!

We finally made it to the one place that my wife has always wanted to visit and that was to the Waterford Crystal Factory. A beautiful place and was worth it. Kilkenny Castle seemed like an afterthought but was just beautiful; but seeing the Waterford factory caped off a beautiful place to visit. Finally.

What an amazing day!! Starting from the first train ride John Todd was absolutely wonderful. He told stories and gave us history lessons all along the way. We learned loads about this beautiful country with the ease and comfort of our own private guide. John was super helpful with taking our photo at each location. Thanks for capturing our memories!! This tour (and our guide) were top notch!!

We had done Ireland before without a guided tour and having a guided tour was so much better. We wanted our mother (in-law) to have a magical trip. John T was a very entertaining and informative guide. He kept us on a leisurely pace allowing us time to take plenty of photos while taking some group photos for us as well. John is very pleasant and kind, we would certainly take another tour with him.
