COVID-19 Update (Mon. 06 July 2020):

Notice: As per latest advice issued by the Irish Government today, all tours are now suspended until further notice. However, our lockdown timetable has improved and it seems that tours will now resume later this summer (sooner than we envisaged). All future tours will be fully compliant with any government advised safety & hygiene protocols. Further updates will follow.

Update: Due to a nationwide lockdown which came into effect on Friday 27th March there has been drastic reduction in the number of colleagues available to deal with enquiries. All enquiries will be dealt with, but under the circumstances our normally excellent response time may be delayed somewhat. We will be unable to deal with telephone enquiries until further notice. Please send all enquiries to info@railtoursireland.com. Stay Safe during this time, the Railtours Ireland Team.

"The sites we visited were beautiful and we learned a lot about the show. It was so much fun. "

Jun 2016 by Cynthia P

SO MUCH FUN!!!!! My husband and I were traveling with our 20 year old daughter. She is the game of thrones watcher. We are not. But I wanted to schedule something I thought she would like and Eric and I were excited about Belfast. Well...I can't say enough great things about this tour. Northern Ireland was unbelievable. The train ride was awesome. The city of Belfast is full of history and beautiful. We took the hop on hop off all around the city. We went to the Titanic visitor center and enjoyed it very much. Our bus guide was very informative. We learned a lot about the city. Our hotel was fantastic. The next day we got on the bus for the game of thrones day. My daughter LOVED it! I have to say...I enjoyed it as much as my daughter did. The sites we visited were beautiful and we learned a lot about the show. It was so much fun. Highly recommend. Just soaking in the landscape of Northern Ireland was worth the whole trip!

"WOW what an amazing tour and tour guide"

Jul 2015 by Anne G, Arizona

WOW what an amazing tour and tour guide. When i first booked this tour I was a little skeptical taking my in-laws because they are not Game of Thrones fans. But you don't have to be. We were met promptly at 6:45 at the train station. After the train ride we were transferred to a coach bus with the best tour guide anyone could ask for. His name is Derick and he was so knowledgeable about our stops, very funny and he had the best jokes!!!! When we come back to take another tour Derick will be the one we will request. The hotel in Belfast was beautiful. The only negative I have to say was taking a coach back to Dublin instead of the train. My in-laws we excited for the train rides and we only go to take it to Belfast. Thank you for an amazing adventure.

"The sites around Northern Ireland were breath taking and the added fun was the GOT aspect. "

The day in Belfast was full and I definitely recommend the Titanic Museum for both kids and adults what with its interactive displays and organization. The Hotel Europa was lovely for the one night stay. Derek our tour guide was absolutely funny. The sites around Northern Ireland were breath taking & the added fun was the GOT aspect. Thank you!
